Size, access, temporary material, surrounding damage and number of openings affect the total. - BoardUp reviews photos to confirm the service path and ETA. The total price is confirmed before work begins, and no additional charge is added without customer approval. Final glass replacement may still require on-site measurements. - If damage followed a break-in, vandalism, storm or impact, photograph the full opening and close-up damage before cleanup when it is safe to do so. - Keep people and pets away from loose or hanging glass. Do not touch unstable pieces, enter the damaged area or attempt to board a large or elevated opening. Take photos only from a safe position. - If police attend, record the occurrence number. Keep damaged locks, strike plates, handles and other forced components unless they create a hazard, and confirm with the insurer before disposal. - Job photos and an itemized invoice are available on request. A reasonably requested invoice format can be prepared for the customer or adjuster.
