Storefront situations we handle

This service is for commercial glass and entrance damage where the business frontage, display window or storefront door cannot be left open.

Smashed storefront window

Retail, restaurant, plaza or office glass broken by impact, vandalism or forced entry.

Storefront door glass broken

Entrance glass damaged with the door still needing to close, latch and lock.

Business exposed overnight

Openings that need temporary protection until final glass is ready.

Commercial entrance damage

Glass, frame, closer or lock area affected by a break-in or impact.

Storefront response

Secure the business first. Repair the storefront after.

Storefront damage affects customers, staff, inventory and after-hours security. We inspect the full entrance before choosing temporary protection or a permanent repair.

01

Inspect the storefront system

We check the glass, aluminum frame, entrance door, lock area and surrounding panels before deciding what must be covered or replaced.

02

Make the damaged area safe

We remove loose hazards and protect open glass or access points so the business is secure.

03

Cover or board up the opening

Depending on the size and location of the damage, we install temporary protective cover, board-up or another securing solution.

04

Plan the permanent repair

After the business is secure, we measure the glass and arrange storefront replacement, door repair or frame work.

Claim records

Document the storefront before cleanup.

After a break-in, vandalism, storm or impact, photograph the point of entry, full frontage, damaged hardware and anything disturbed inside, when it is safe. If police attend, record the occurrence number.

Tell us on the first call if insurance may be involved. BoardUp can provide job photos and an itemized invoice; your insurer or adjuster determines the coverage and claim requirements.

Before and after
